*The training class is designed to teach children the basic fundamentals of dance. Children love rhythm, movement as well as African dance history and culture. Training class members are ages 5-15. After mastering the techniques taught in the training class, students may audition for The Iibada Dance Company. Many of the Iibada Dance Company members began their “dance career” in the training class.

Types of Courses Available:

There are two types of courses available:
Basic Training Class and Technical Dance Training


Basic Training Class

 The training class is designed to teach children the basic fundamentals of dance. Children love rhythm, movement as well as African dance history and culture. Training class members are ages 5-15.

After mastering the techniques taught in the training class, students may audition for The iibada Dance Company. Many of the iibada Dance Company members began their “dance career” in the training class.



Technical Dance Training
 


IIBADA functions as a dance school that teaches the fine art of dancing. IIBADA  concentrates on, but is not limited to African, Modern , Hip Hop, and Jazz styles of dance.

Technical dance training is provided along with choreography. The children train to become primary dancers and member of the iibada Dance Company.
